It's official, Cheryl splits from Ashley

Shortly after Cheryl Cole arrived back in the UK after shooting the video for her new single 'Parachutes' in L.A. her spokesman released a statement saying,

"Cheryl Cole is separating from her husband Ashley Cole. Cheryl asks the media to respect her privacy during this difficult time."

"We have no further comment to make."

So it's official, Cheryl Cole is back on the market, although, I doubt she will trust anyone for a while.

Yet another Cheryl Cole story.

It has been announced that Cheryl and Ashley Cole will be officially announcing thier divorce in the coming weeks.




A friend of Cheryl's has said she will probably end the marriage when she comes home from L.A. Next week and that there was a time she was going to 'ride out the storm' however, more reports of Ashley and other women mean she cannot face it.

A spokesman refused to comment on the split and just said she is in L.A. to record extra tracks for her album 3 Words.

Cheryl's new man

Cheryl Cole doesn't seem to be wasting any time finding a new man.

She has been seen out in L.A. with Derek Hough, the blonde guy from U.S. show Dancing With the Stars.

They went to the cinema first to see chick flick Valentines Day, then they were spotted sharing a romantic meal and then finaly Cheryl change into a sexy black dress for a night on the town.

The pair have known each other for over a year and Derek has worked with Cheryl before on her show, Cheryl Cole's Night In, back in December. He also appears in her new video where the pair perform a steamy salsa routine together.


Although this story seems great that Cheryl may finally be getting rid of the love rat Ashley, a spokesman has said try were not out alone and that "there was big group out for the night"

Cheryl Cole goes L.A.la

It seems that after a questional Brits performance Cheryl Cole went straight back to her marital home and packed her bags for L.A.



She was seen at Heathrow airport sporting a t-shirt with a woman crying on it, and a big gold nugget in place of her £160,000 wedding ring.

According to her management the trip had been planned for months.

So whilst Cheryl is in L.A. mending a broken heart, Ashley is left at home, alone, nursing a broke ankle! Shame!
