AT&T to lose iPhone exclusivity?

US cellphone network AT&T, who have had exclusive rights to the iPhone since it's launch, are set to have competition.





The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple are working on a version o the iPhone that will carry data on a CDMA connection rather than GSM, which only AT&T use.

This move will mean American consumers will have a choice of network providers, including Verizon and Sprint, to choose when buying an iPhone, surely this will once again boost sales of the iPhone. Clever Apple!
